What dremel for case modding?

Dremel 300 and some Fibreglass reinforced cutting wheels, can't go wrong.

I bought the speedclic starter set to go with it (comes with two wheels and a mandrel that makes changing them very easy).

Maybe get a 5/10 pack of the wheels to go with it if you are doing a lot of cutting although they do last a long time.

As above, with the addition of don't be tempted by the re chargable ones. They just don't have the grunt needed.

There are usually some pretty good deals to be had re accessory packs etc. Go for the ones with the discs, as you'll never use all the other crap that they can come bundled with (I know this from experience)

Out of curiousity, what batteries do most dremels use? And are they used for anything other than cutting steal when case modding? eg polishing etc. Never used one :s

Yea trust me always get the corded dremels other ones just don't have the torque. Just be aware that reinforced cutting disc is pretty much all u will use (well maybe the little sanding tool). Also remenber that a dremel isn't great at cutting steal (it can do it but u have to be patient) but it will go through aluminium like butter :P. Also don't be tempted by dremel wanna be's as most of them are a pile of junk (if you do just make sure it has as good as or better specs than a dremel and ull be fine). Oh yea and get urself some goggles i don't use them (need to get a pair) and it's an extreme pain in the arse have to squint my eyes to stop anything flying into my eyes (and trust me it will try to :D).
