What Dvds Should I Buy?

So i'm going to spend about £100 on recent dvds tomorrow, which ones should i buy?

By recent I mean movies which have came out in 2007, i've seen most older films.

On my list so far:

300
Apocalypto
Shooter
Hot Fuzz
The Departed

Which others would you recommend?

300, Hot Fuss and The Departed are all great films, They should be on anyones list.

One for the future though would be Transformers, Great film .

You're going to spend £100 on DVDs and you don't know what ones you want to buy? No offence but surely the money could be spent on something better. I mean, why intend on spending £100 on DVDs? So your mates can be awe inspired by your DVD collection? Rent the movies and buy something decent.

Just for the record, I thought 'Shooter' sucked the big one.

I'd highly recommend Hot Fuzz, and Pan's Labyrinth, that is if it is out on DVD yet.

I agree with one of the other posters though, £100 seems a bit excessive to be spent all on DVD's?!

Each to their own, in my opinion I though it was the best film I had seen so far in 2007 which is surpassed now by transformers.

I would agree entirely. Rarely am I dissapointed by a film when I go to the cinema, as I'm a fairly simple soul, who's pretty easily pleased But Hot Fuzz was a dreadful film and for a comedy, it only managed to muster about 2 or 3 moments that were even remotely funny.
