What earphones do you runners use? I've got my trusty Sony in-ear jobbies but they've been driving me mad because they fallout all the time. Someone recommended Philips SHQ3000/10 which are £15 in Amazon but the reviews say they have no bass at all and I tend to listen to bassy music. Don't really want to waste £15 if I'm not going to be happy with them :(

Something like a clip-on Sennheiser CX200 or CX300 would be ideal and I'd prefer individual ear clips rather than a band round the back of the head.

Any recommendations?

Does the band not bang up and down when you run with them on? I've got some ear defenders shaped like that and the band itself really makes a lot of rumbling noise if it rubs on my collar or knocks my neck. I think that's why I want to avoid them. I also prefer the ones that plug right in the ear because they muffle out the background noise. It means if I'm not running I don't have to sit on the train listening to other people over my music and I don't need it as loud :D

Cheers for the suggestions, all taken on board :)

I've noticed that wearing a hat holds them in conveniently. Trouble is, I cook alive when I run so I can't wear anything on my head or I overheat. Spotted some non-sports Philips ones like I posted that I might give a go. They don't get the bad reviews about bass. I've also thought I might borrow my girlfriend's CX200's to see if they stay in any better. They use the same buds as my Sonys do, so I can just swap them on. I know my Sonys stick out a bit, so that might be what's causing the problem.
