It depends on how much video editing you do.
Looking through the requirements for Sony Vegas, the 3570k+ sound card+ a Gpu with OpenCL and 8gb+ ram would suffice.

Okay. hows the Gtx 680 Gigabyte windforce and the Msi lightning gtx 680? are they any good?

just get a 670. the price bump to the 680 just aint worth it
