What exactly can you do in Demigod single player?

As title really, Steam says:

"Battle in a persistent online world in multiplayer or play single player either in a skirmish or in the virtual tournament."

Does it just let you skirmish against the A.I. or is there any more to it?

Skirmish vs AI only iirc.

Well there is the tournament as it says... which is essentially just a series of skirmishes.

What a coincidence ... I've been trying to log in to play this all day but it wont let me.

Does anyone here want to play multiplayer? I used to be a Queen of Thorns pro and could keep myself and a rook standing through almost anything

I'll need a little practice again though.
