Installed most of my kit into the Corsair 700D last night, but was wanting to look at a Fan control unit for the various Corsair and Noctua fans I have installed.

I haven't installed any additional fans yet, so it's the 3 standard Corsair units and 2 Noctua fans attached to my heatsink.

What fan control unit do people recommend.

System is a Q9550 CPU etc.

I am curious on this as well as i am planning to get a 700D soon and also a lot of people say the standard corsair fans are not very good as you own one what are your views on the supplied fans.

Everythng seems fine, but for me the noise is coming from hard drive vibrations and my 5870 gfx card.

Bear in mind my hearing is very poor anyway :(

The zalman zm-mfc 1 plus is available in black and silver finish, got one installed in my Lian Li A70F. Nice simple unit.

Here you go mate.

Like the look of that fan unit thanks for the pic :). Am going to be getting five apache blacks when i get the case as consensus seems to be they are good fans.

Being 4 pin pwm fans, im not sure if theyll fit on the zalman zm mfc 1 plus as the connectors are 3 pin only. I currently run 4 3 pin case fans on mine, my 2 akasa vipers on the cpu cooler are ran via the mobo's 4 pin cpu header with an akasa pwm spliter cable.

Sure i saw somewhere about 4 pin to 3 pin convertor might be wrong or could have been something else looking at so much stuff lately head is spinning a bit :).

Just found this pic, seems you should be able to get a 4 pin fan onto the connectors.

Couldnt remember how tight the spacing was between each connector, been quite a while since i fitted mine and its a bit akward to see the rear of the controler in my case.

for my 800d i bought one of these:

Scythe Nesteq FanMax 8-Channel Black Fan Controller

http://www.nesteq.net/gb/products/fancontrollers/fanmax/index.html

Really good controller, the cables are brilliant and the finish and quality on it is very good, worth the money and looks bloody good when installed

i can +1 this.
im running the same controller, very easy to setup, cables are neatly set out too.
and yes, ive installed apache blacks, cools everything really well and almost silent on max too.

this pic shows it in the case ( sorry for the bad quality )

Not sure how to describe the 700D, but I need to slow the fans down as the case rattles :(

Tempted to get some of the sound deadening kit

Failing that a H50 is tempting

Like the look of the Nesteq and the price is good also so looks like i have solved this problem :) thanks for that one less problem to sort out.
