What fan controller?

I have a new nvidia stacker coming tomorrow, which has 3 fans that come with it, but i can add a further 6. ill probably just add another 4, so i need a fan controller than can control 7 seperate fans.

Any ideas if anyone would do this, or whether i would need two?

There is this one http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BB-001-ZA&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=189 that does 6 (in black or silver), but I cant find any that do 7. Maybe get the above and one of those fan mate thermal control thingies...

I did see that, I wasnt sure whether it allowed 6 fans, or whether the other two nobs were for something else.

Ill have to wait till my case comes as it has a door on it, the zalman may not fit thanks to the nobs that protrude.

Im quite intrested in these as well just for the sake of having one. You can use it to control your cpu as well or is it bset to let the mobo control the cpu fan?

O and i wouldn't buy the one above... its not got any pretty flashy lights on it lol.

I have the akasa one and its excellent, comes with temp probes too! The one I have takes 3 pin fan connectors, so I can could connect my CPU fan when I had one, and simply used the molex to 3 pin adapters that came with my akasa amber fans to connect them

Do the fan controlers which come with temp probes automaticaly ajust the fan speeds?

I dont know about other ones, but the Akasa one doesnt auto adjust the speeds, you'd just use the auto speed control on the mobo for that, but it shows all the temps on the LCD screen on the front of the PC so you can keep an eye whilst gaming and adjust as necessary

i have just got a zalman ZM-MFC1. I also have a door on my case (antec sonata II), but i didn't think about that until after i got it lol. Anyway put it in wired it up and everything and it works a treat (and the door still closes )
