I work from home occasionally and like to listen to a bit of music whilst I work. My venerable Creative PC speakers have finally just stopped working.

I mostly game with a headset and I'm not an audiophile, so I'm after a decent but not huge of speakers. Doesn't have to be 2.1 bookshelves would do.

A colour other than black would be good too.

What do you think ?

Edifier R1600T would be a good choice, however, they are black. Microlab Solo6C are brown, but they are quite a bit larger than the Edifier's. Probably too big if you are not looking for huge speakers. If you are looking for something smaller than the Edifier's, then Creative T20 are worth considering, although they aren't as good as the Edifier's; or there's a set of Microlab FC330 2.1 speakers, which are brown and not huge. Again though, the
Edifier's are superior.

I'll have a look for those. Thanks.
Do any of them do white do you know ? Trying make them invisible on white shelves you see

Audioengine A2+ would be my suggestion, plug in via USB and ready to go. Or the A2 if you have a soundcard in place already. The Audioengine A5+ are considered quite good too but a lot bigger. Also B&W MM1 speakers are nice but don't go to great volume and a lot more than you were probably wanting to spend, quality is top notch though.

Edifier R1600T is definitely a nice speakers and cheap, I got them and bought it when it was on sale. An okay size not too big, sound quality is definitely good but I wish they have a remote.

Edifier!

Those a2 look the biz. Any ideas on good places to find them ?

trying to stock them! but massdrop will always be cheaper.

They would RRP for £200 If I stock them wouldn't be allowed to price trash like masssdrop can.
