What FPS do you get in Source?

The source engine rocks, great graphics AND great performance

I was happy to do it with my old PC as it was cheap to replace. This isn't.

Play on 24 player public servers (mainly) and my own 40 player surf server

Favourite maps... aztec, dust, dust2, militia, assault.

In the stress test I get 92 fps all maxed out 1280x1024.

P4 2.4ghz at 3ghz, 1gb ram, 6800le not unlocked or OCed atm.
90fps on the stress test.

I play source once in a blue moon but at least i know it won't look bad

Haven't played CSS, or anything on the source engine for a while now. But from what i remember:

AMD Athlon XP3200+
6600GT
1gb RAM

Usually got around 40fps-ish. That was with everything up high, but with no AA on. Played on servers with anywhere between 16-32 man.

source likes being optimistic - it stuck bloom on my 9800 Oo

btw what res is that at haly - seeing the fps you guys get makes me want to run into a wall

My rig gets about 130fps on the stress test. TBH, I've not played Source in ages so can't remember what frame rate I get in games.
