what fps does a 8800 get at cod 4

theres few reasons but take too long to explain.but if you ask any serious gamer who plays online fps games visuals come second to high fps.if you cant notice the difference then good for you but i can.i have a good razer mouse which is fine.in cod uo i used to play it with smaller res to get high fps cause you can unload guns quicker move slightly faster= more frags.ask any cs pro they do same when they could play at silly high res.so in cod 4 im hoping to get very high fps the same thats why i need to know as a gt is what i think would be a decent upgrade for the money.ideally you would hope for 333 fps but cant see that with a gt.

sorry but if you like your fps lower thats ok.ill play with higher fps but lower visuals.but anyone whos plays seriously goes for the highest fps over visuals.so they can jump better and allsorts.it is a lot better whether you agree or not.theres thousands of posts about 333fps and online gaming.125 is considered fine but most clan serious players go for a lot more cause of the benefits.if there wasnt no benefits they wouldnt do it.
it can help covering maps quicker, less recoil on weapons.better jumping.few other points.why would you leave you maxfps at 0 lol.you only set it to 0 to get your maxfps then when you got it you set it to your highest fps.

right so say a tree with full detail on more bushy harder to see through.no detail get where im going.so its tripe okay last post about it cause you wont except the benefit.clanbase wanted it banned cause of the advantages it gives you.but it doesnt give you an advantage so why ban it.doesnt matter now its not worth the hassle.

@ DG what planet are you on mate? I play a lot of q3 and quake4 and that is all about FPS. I can safely tell you now that your talking rubbish, above 125 in q3 and it makes no difference I hardly see cod4 being any different. And this rubbish about pros playing it at huge fps/low resolution for the reasons you stated are lies. If anything lower visuals and that res will mean poor textures allowing enemy models and colours to stand out, a SOLID fps not 1000000million.
And you say "a serious FPS gamer" yet you own a razer, im sorry but you have been muggedAnd as for recoil, if cod4 is anything like CS its easily controlled. Stand facing a wall and fire full auto and watch the spray its more than likely the same everytime so you just compensate for this, not go and buy a new gfx card.
Gaming is not just about hardware, if you arent any good at the game you aint going any where. I could go and spend £100+ on football boots but I aint going to play any better.

best cod team in world hmmmmmm what they use hmmm razer hmmm man played with all the mice you can play with and razers are the best for me.i will admit im not as good as i were few years back but can still play with the best when i concentrate hard enough or can be bothered , but now its more fun than clan eliteness.if you seen my xfire list

well for a start in cod2 the fps rates are 71 / 125 / 250 / 333 / 500
the bounce from 125 fps to 333 lets u shoot faster jump higher run with heavy guns only making footsteps like every 6-7 steps u do notice a massive difference in the fps increase. also what kind of card would i need for 333fps in dx9 raven?
Unfortunately there are a number of known glitches that go along with getting a constant 333 FPS which makes the game unfair for those who cannot get 333 constant. A movie by Pure Mayhem shows us exactly what glitches in 333. The sniper scope is unusually steady when moving and running around with the 44 makes hardly any noise. When the player switches to a 125 FPS cap the scope moves wildly and the player sounds like a horse when moving around. Clearly there is a problem and unfair advantage for those who get 333.

i do play at normal res sometimes of playing single player games.i dont see point as some of you might not see with why i do it.it really is up to the individual really.yes i can play well if i want but not as good as i was.if im playing a seriuos game i will play different but public servers i play for a laugh.if i want to play serious games i go play free for all with the best that play cod4 or scrim with clans.like i said earlier i mainly play publics now as playing against really good players takes to much effort and i dont get as much enjoyment out of it as i used to.

not i dont put fancy cvars in turning everything off i just turn details to low textures low all in options.im no hack.which i think some may think.as said before its only when i go on the really hard server which 90 percent dont even go on or have access to.i take few of my mates on now and again who think there good or decent and they just say wow wow wow. 90 percent would just scream hackers or cheats.say youve got carbine aks they just get a sniper and own you but not camping there running constantly.
had all intelimice and i thought they were garbage.some do like them though each to his own.also used the logitechs 510s, 518s, and razers is the one mouse that i prefer and so do most of my mates who play.

why cause i like to play against the best there is how is that sad?is just the same in sport.you use everything you can within the rules to perform the best thats possible.if in a sprint race would you use a pair of slippers when you know you can use trainers.
