What fps keeps you comin back for more?

CSGO
Altho I don't really play FPS games anymore.
Reasons for CSGO :
No time based upgrades (appart from skins I guess but no real advantage there)
Everyone has the same weapons
Small controlled squad/team tactics
No tanks or helicopters
The idea of experienced players having bigger & better weapons (cod/bf) seems completely unintuitive, especially when looking at it from a new players perspective.
I also don't like the OMG LOOK AT ME IN MY TANK ***BOOM*** ***BOOM***
It's pretty funny that BF players seem to roleplay to the extent of telling me they are a pilot or infantry etc... (I played vs someone I worked with and beat them on a console with the beginner weapons and apparently I was cheating)

Stalker SoC and CoP. I keep going back to both of them with various mods on, spent a fair few hours on those games

CoD 4. Hop in get a few kills/air strikes, instant satisfaction.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. I've played SHoC about 30 times through and i'm still discovering new stuff. the modding community is also very active which keeps the game fresh.

For a long time, there's been nothing in the online fps department. I think if I did get back into putting a good chunk of time into something, then it would be to try a different genre altogether.
Single player, however, is a different story; S.T.A.L.K.E.R. / Quake and other old classics (F.E.A.R.) do me very nicely indeed.

Those voting cs:go do you play ranked? Im only casual atm nearly level 3 then can try ranked maybe it becomes more interesting then?

BF4 mainly..only game I enjoy..after moving over from COD years ago, was a beast at it..just got repetitive and limited

I have fear 2 and 3 in my library, not played it yet. Should I start with 1? or should I skip to 2 and not waste my time, whatever time i have in life atm lol? Missing much?
Definitely play the first; it's widely regarded as the best out of the three by a long shot. Also, there are two expansion packs which slot in between Fear 1 and 2, and these are well worth playing, too.
The second and third games, imo, are decent enough fps titles, though they don't have that same 'feeling' / experience that the previous ones offer.
Start with 1 it was brilliant (SP mode) for me still the best single player fps I have ever played, bricked it a bit in that game
