What 'free stuff' do you get from work?

I got my speaker cable for free (about £30 worth @ retail) and saved a big chunk on my speakers, amp and TV. Paid £620 all in when they were selling for £990.

I work in Network Security. We get load of free stuff all the time, especially from RSA and Symantec. So far I have had an RSA Fleece, and t-shirts and quite a few USB 1GB & 2Gb flash drives. We get free AV, but I usually give that away, or just bin it. :D

Desk and chair to sit at whilst working, ten year old computer to develop on..
Oh and I get to buy my own development software!

Nothing overly fantastic, the usual staff discount (10%) and free shares every year if you choose to opt in. I did however get vairous freebies while working on the booze. JD Fag tin with pack of cards, various JD t-shirts, Bacardi t-shirt, guinness st paddy's day t shirts(07 & 08), paddy's day flag and inflatable can of guinness. Got too love the reps! Dont get much on current department although we do get overstocks of freebies that go out with customers orders. This month its shed loads of single serve packs of Cheerios.

Not that i condone this but when i used to work in a certain souless electronic retail outlet the warehouse staff used to check what was entered incorrectly on the system, so lets say there were 3 laptops registered but 4 in the ware house, when taking the empty boxes out they would put them in the skip too and come pick em up at night...got me an ipod for £10 ;-)

You don't condone it but were willing to buy one of those pilfered items?

Tescos, I once got tipped a couple of smokes (not supposed to take any tips but i did anyway).
Wow, i got a quality street, a single, at christmas, passing a tin around on tills.
An old lady gave me a couple of murray mints because i packed her shopping for her.

Some guy tried to tip me £50 at christmas but if i got caught with the cash i'd get suspended so i didn't take it, though it was tempting, nice crispy £50 note, mmm.

Oh and the most useless of all 10% discount in tescos, which i never use as I don't live anywhere near it and I avoid buying in supermarkets, especially budget ones. I gave that to my mum, she doesn't mind shopping in tescos.
