what game have you put the most hours into and what's your favourite thing about it.

for me is cs go at 1220 hours and I just like shooting chickens xD

Probably DayZ mod for Arma 2 a few years back.

Before that it would have been one of the earlier COD games in my teens on Xbox live.

Can't Remember how many hours but I know my highest on Steam is Team Fortress 2, following on from that it's either Modern Warfare 2 Multi-player or Day-Z (mod and then standalone combined).

Edit: After seeing a couple of posts below, Lord of the Rings Online will be the game I've put the most hours into by an absolute mile. No idea on hours but I played near enough everyday for around 4 years or so.

For me it will probably be an MMO, the only non-MMO game that will come close is Civ5 as I've piled hundreds of hours into that ever since it was released.

Over 1000 hours in TF2... I have multiple games from the same series at over 300hours as well (Elder Scrolls and Total War).

I will have you know I've not gamed in 2 months, I'm on the mend :P

Undoubtedly Championship Manager back when I was in sixth form or university.

That aside, probably the original Mario Kart on SNES, or the first Gran Turismo, or GTA III, or Team Fortress 2 (on Xbox, have never enjoyed the PC version as much).

Not played anything extensively in recent years. 50 hours on FTL is more than double anything else on steam.

I have never really played an MMO as they do not appeal to me. Fallout New Vegas is most, followed by Skyrim, then one of the Championship Manager games.

I would not be surprised if Fallout 4 overtakes one or even all of those though, even though it isn't in the same league!

WoW, easily. Then probably CS 1.6, then I'd guess something like Diablo 2. My highest on Steam is Rust though, back when it was good.

Civ 5 -favourite thing - just one more turn, so addictive I have to think twice before starting a game.

BF 4 - favourite thing - dunno, probably progression? Its just a slick well made team shooter.

Probably Quake 3 in terms of actively playing - easily waaaay more than 10,000 hours - when I played competitively I was putting in a good 5 hours a night for 3-4 years and that doesn't include all the casual playing.

Eve Online I calculated at around 13,000 hours before I quit but only about 1/3rd of that was actively playing - the rest was often tabbed out while doing stuff like mining or fleeted up waiting for stuff to happen.

Q2, COD4 and MW2 I put around 4000 hours into each one of those over the years.

Few other MMO type games like CoH and Guild Wars I put a few thousand hours into.

Not being a student any more and working a lot of overtime these days by comparison I've only just about hit 1000 hours in BF4 - in other games like COD4 in the time since release I'd clocked up more than 4x that number of hours.

Series wise probably Championship Manager/Football Manager. Single game though Dota 2, far too much. I've almost got to the point where I'm not entirely terrible as well :p

WoW closely followed by the Football Manager series(which has gone to **** now).

Last time I played WoW was about 2007, God knows how many classic games I missed because of it.
