What game in history have you played the most?

Probably WoW between the ages of 16-19, and then on and off for another 4 years or so after that. Must be thousands upon thousands of hours. I'd hate to know the total!

UO, Neocron or WoW... Not sure which, probably a good ~10k hours between them... (Average of 3-4 hrs+ a day almost every day from the age of 16 to 25)!

Ignoring MMOs... Probably Civilisation 2 - had quite a few days where I used to play a whole game in 1 sitting during the school holidays (I.e. 10hrs in front of the PC :p)

I knew I was a light gamer, but some of the figures being chucked about in here are mental! I've never spent more than 1000 hours in any game and I've probably not ever played 10,000 hours of games on all platforms combined, in my life. :p

World of Warcraft. About 600 days played in total.

And Marvel Heroes might be my second with over 4900 hours played on steam.

MMO - EVE player since 5th July 2004 and up until last year, I had only been unsubscribed for two months.

Non-MMO - Operation Flashpoint (now known as ARMA: Cold War Crisis, or something) would have to be up there. Played it pretty much exclusively for around 3 years.

Series - Metal Gear Solid. I have Big Boss rank on MGS, MGS2: Sons of Liberty, MGS3: Snake Eater, MGS4: Guns of the Patriots and 100% completion on MGS5: The Phantom Pain....so have spent many, many hours on the series over the years.

Quite a few EVE players on here. I used to be in PANDA (unsure if/when they were actually a known group of Eve players) - fond memories of ****(widdle) ups in London courtesy of CCP Games :D

They were selling rather strong cocktails dubbed 'POS Fuel' in metal buckets with straws... Remember landing one for myself and... Not much else.

Probably Quake 2 and Quake 4. The latter I must have played thousands upon thousands of hours. I was quite nifty at Quake 2 duel back in the day on Wireplay :)

Got over 1000 hours in Borderlands 2 and so very many plays of GTA Vice City and San Andreas under my belt it's not funny!

Oh and then there was this thing called Half - Life Deathmatch. No one heard of it but that thing sucked up time like nothing else! :)

WoW not even sure how many "days" played, probably near 1000.

Thankfully I don't play anymore, that was a seriously addictive game.

Hard to say as been gaming for over 20 years now but, excluding the "endless" titles such as the transport sims (and associated sandboxes) I would probably have to say GTA San Andreas. I actually wore out the first DVD - the initial release was still a game where you had to load the disc for authentication.

Probably still my all time favourite game as well.

Still fun to play now even though the graphics are a bit dated and it's prone to crashing, but it just hits all the spots in so many ways.

RuneScape.

6084 hours played on my main account on RS3 (maxed character excluding invention).

498 hours played on my oldschool account.

So 6600+ hours and a few hundred more if you include other accounts created over 10 years and hours played on private servers.

Everquest. At one point in my life ( when I was unemployed) I was on for that around 15 hours a day for around 18 months. Even when I started work I would rack up 5 to 6 hours a day during the 5 days and then hit stupid hours over the weekend. I was a hermit.

I played it pretty much exclusively from 1999 to 2005. Thousands and thousands of hours.

Was it a waste? I enjoyed it immensely, and there hasn't been a gaming experience since that has come close for me.

For those other EQ players.....if at all interested....I played on innoruuk.
