What game in history have you played the most?

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and its expansion, Spearhead. Must be at least a few thousand hours of gameplay. It's the last game I played where I was in a proper clan.

Probably Half Life Team Fortress (original) but not touched now for many years and probably no servers running it now either.I don't bother with multi-player these days.
Other than that I've spent a lot of hours playing the Farcry games - although not one game I know but if there's a franchise I've spent most time on that's it.

Arma 2/3 combined around 2000 hours, 800 hours war thunder over 1000 on CSGO and I spent hours on COD 4 all the way to BO 2. When I look back I do feel slightly guilty of the time wasted but I also gave good memories of my times playing them and some of the people I have been able to talk with.

I have been heavy into these as time has gone by

Turrican
Turrican 2
Unreal Tournament ( 99 by far the most )
Quake ( 2 the most )
However now that steamlogs how long we have played the installed apps, I can see 8756 Hours on Dawn Of War SoulStorm... Thats not including the fact that I have the retail version and have played that a ton of times before I ever got it on Steam
I like that game apparently!

EverQuest without a shadow of a doubt. I had 70 days played on my first main character and about 60 days played on my second main character. That's 3120 hours total played. No other game has come anywhere near to that number.

I still miss that game and the people I met while playing it. Looking forward to some new MMOs coming out that will grab me in the same way as EverQuest did.

Kick Off 2 on the Atari ST.
My addiction got so bad it actually caused quite a few arguments with my wife and eventually I destroyed the floppy disk.

Solider of Fortune

It was one of the first games that i actually sank many hours into multiplayer and had a solid campaign.

Dread to think how it holds up now.

I just remember the ability to shoot individual limbs off and it was one of the first games around to showcase itself doing so. Many a hoot playing that!

But going way back i would say desert storm on the mega drive. Loved that.

Quake III and the team based follow up to it.

Happy days as i purchased an optical mouse and thought i was an MLG

Asherons call by a country mile, took ages to ween myself away from it

I still play it since it went a one off payment and no monthly charge. Several months played on my now main. I hate to think about my other characters as well.

I still play some C64 games and Amiga games which would have massive amounts of play time such as SWoS, Kick Off 2, Dungeon Master, Football Manager, Footballer of the Year, etc.

UT99 for me, no idea how many hours.
iCTF weekly Clanbase league matches, cups and LANS spent quite a bit of time

Miss the days of not levelling up not having to sink your entire existence into a game to unlock a pellet gun.

Ah clan base that takes me back  I was pretty much same with UT99 including the tactical operations mod everyday something was going on with clan training and matches ,fun times on slow internet hehe :D
Don't have the time or energy for that now lol :p

As a lad the only games I remember pouring serious amounts of time into were:

Sonic Games
Heavy Gear (odd one I know)
All Metal Gear Solid Games
Goldeneye (Obviously)

More recently, the only games I have poured serious hours into are Skyrim and Fallout 3, NV and 4. Absolutely loved the first and second Assassins Creed games, the second specifically had a lot of life. The Metro games I replay every now and again, Crysis 1 was epic once I stopped messing with the graphics and actually played and got around 3-4 full playthroughs, and finally the only other long lifer was probably Titanfall on the XB1, being the only multiplayer online game that actually held my interest for an extended period of time.

Most other games, although I enjoyed, I lose interest once stories are done; dont bother replaying for achievements I just play as I do and deal with the consequences, and online play even on PC these days with its increase in popularity has gone downhill, but maybe as I get older I just tolerate people less.

Cured myself by selling my main (mike the deathbringer)
Was an amazing game, WoW wasn't a decent replacement

Everquest 2 for me, played it from release in 2004 until sometime around 2010/2011 when my guild disbanded and the playerbase started to dwindle. Started playing casually for the first couple of years as I'd never played an MMO before then joined a hardcore raiding guild called Unity (on Splitpaw server) where I stayed for many years. The raiding schedule was Mon-Thurs 7PM till late and then Sunday 6PM till late with a minimum 75% attendance.
