If you were to buy one title from the following, which would it be and why?

Toca Race Driver 2
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War
Morrowind
Rome: Total War Gold Edition
Medieval: Total War Gold Edition
Hitman: Blood Money
C&C Tiberian Sun
Lock On: Modern Air Combat
Gangsters 1&2
Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos

Warhammer 40k - Dawn of War

Probably the best RTS game i have played on PC since Red Alert 2, the later expansions are nothing to write home about but the original and winter assault expansion are epic.

independance war II without a doubt, a series that is in desperate need of resurrection, the potential (story wise) to surpass star wars with gameplay to surpass every other space flight game around, its such a well made game, so yeah I-war II by a country mile :)

Morrowind

Despite it being one of the best rpg's on the pc, the vast array of mods will extend the life of the game far beyond most if not all of the others.

Didn't notice this at first glance, if you are looking for something different, this may just be the thing, however, you may also hate it :). I recommend the demo (bottom of page)

If you do decide to purchase, Buy Lock On Gold, it's the most up to date version.

The reason for that particular list is because I found them cheap (£5 or less each, including shipping). Yes, I'm tight :p

What he said.
There's so much to see in vanilla Morrowind, as well, it'll last you an absolute age if you let it suck you in. Then there're the mods to keep you going if you do manage to see it all. :D

It isn't as pretty as Oblivion (although I do prefer the look of Morrowind, despite its dated look), but the landscapes are more varied and certainly more interesting; there are mods which improve the quality of the visuals, though, but don't expect miracles.
The characters in Morrowind are also more memorable and special compared to Oblivion.

So, if you can see past the slightly dated graphics there's an unmissable game underneath.

Oh, and despite what was said above, I have a modern PC and the games works fine. :)

Heh, I'd know a thing or two about that since I play old 2D RPGs...my PC is of 2002 vintage so it'll work fine :p

Is it the GOTY edition of Morrowind? If not, you may want to look in to getting the expansion packs at some point.
