The HL2 Episodes are HL3.
And I'm not really waiting on anything, other than Mass Effect. And there will be a big gap between it coming on the XBox360 and the PC.
Where are the games with the really involving, engrossing storylines? You know, like KotOR, Deux Ex and Baldurs Gate 2. I had high hopes for NWN2, but that turned out quite shallow.
