So yeah, simple really, Ive been running an old 4850 for ages and its time for an upgrade...

Dont want to spend more than £200 if there isnt a huge difference in performance. Dont care if its ATI or Nvidea (tho i'm used to ATI, CCC and what-not). So spec me up please you lovely people :)

Depending on PSU I would highly recommend THIS, it has a 3rd party cooler on it rather than the stock one as these cards are well known for running hot but they pack a lot of kick.

Stoner81.

ok, bit of a bump :p

got carried away with exams and forgot about this thread and the notion of buying a new card but with exams over i'm back in the market :)

SO! think i've narrowed it down to just the two, both MSI:

6950 £15 extra but can be flashed to 6970 (yes?)

GTX560i

so what do you guys suggest? still on 1920x1080 and with only 600w of power (running several HDD's... do i need to up the power? :s )

6950 cant be flashed to 6970 as it is not revision 1. there are very few revision 1 cards still being made now, and everyone is charging a premium for them

560Ti is overpriced because of the overclock thats been put on it as standard. get the cheaper version of it and overclock it yourself if you want a 560Ti
