what GPU should i get??????

cool. the only thing i can't deside on is iva getin 2X Point of View GeForce GTX 280 1024MB GDDR3 or 2X ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2048MB GDDR5 ?

There are issues using 2 x 4870 X2's as they are dual chips and the games have to support Xfire to utilise the full power, just like your 9800GX2's.

Thats why i said the GTX280's as they are very powerful and will play any game with ease.

will this setup play gears of war ok in full res?

What is your current rig? Anyway do not worry if you get that setup, I'm not sure what games would not be able to run well on it.
