I'm giving my brother my 2500k, mobo, Ram and an SSD so I can build a modest PC for him and his girlfriend to play games like the sims at 1080p. Although he siad he would quite like to be able to play COD on it. He's not a PC expert at all so will not freak about frame rates. As long as it's well playable with high settings. I would imagine 50-60fps will do.

He's going to need a graphics card but we really wanted to only spend around £100. Is there anything for that price that will do a good job for a year or two? New is preferred, but I am prepared to go 2nd hand if it's a good deal with warranty remaining. Cheers.

looking at ebay there's a preowned GTX 770 4gb for £85 with a best offer try get it down to like £75 maybe £80 that'll do perfectly (y)

I'm going to fit something pretty basic. Probably the Corsair CX430 modular PSU. I'm sure thats powerful enough for one mid range graphics card.

I wouldn't use a cx series PSU they're kind of naf despite being a corsair product also 430 watt isn't enough to run a decent gpu unless you want it at 100% power output. I'd look at at least a quality 550 watt power supply maybe stretch to a 600 watt as a just incase you decided to get a better gpu always better to have a little too much rather than too little

I'm looking but really, I want a modular and they seem quite a bit more highly priced than non-modular. I'd like to get him a superflower. I have an 850w one and it's mustard but they are priced as such.
