What GPU's have two HDMI that can output 4k at 120hz simultaneously?

After seeing another thread where someone was having issues with both HDMI connected, I was curious as to what current GPU's can actually output 4k at 120hz over two HDMI outputs?

I was looking at getting either a Sapphire Pulse+ 9070XT or an Nvidia 5070ti around £700 or thereabouts.

From what I have read DisplayPort is limited to 2m lengths passive, whereas with HDMI we can run passive up to 5m and 10m with active HDMI high speed. As an example, if my sitting room PC location was connected to the TV, it's either 3m or 5m, up to 10m if using a projector too. So I would be interested in having the option of two Display Port and Two HDMI possibly. Even with the main PC living upstairs it is often connected to a TV again 5m away while also running a monitor, but currenty limited to 1080 output to a 1080p monitor and 4k TV.

My main PC upstairs usually sits on a HiFi rack in the corner, currently under the desk due to moving things around and too much tension having been on cables. Downstairs the audio racks are currently 8m away from the TV, though that may change, the wife isnt too keen on the racks and a visible PC, so the option of various long cable configurations may be of benefit.

It should not be a deal breaker, but reading about another guys problems with dual HDMI output has sort of put me off AMD somewhat, only to find I can't see any 5070ti with dual HDMI as an option anyway?

I cant answer your primary question (though I would expect any modern card with 2xhdmi to work fine) but if you do decide to go with an active optical HDMI then remember they are often directional! One port input the other output.

Had to re-do 15m of wall trunking when I found that out. ..

I remember reading that thread and found it quiet disappointing that new cards were released with that problem; from memory I think the AMD rep was saying the cards with 2 HDMI ports weren't in the original spec and the third party vendors had changed them (not making excuses for them it shouldn't have happened). I guess not many people (myself included) have two 4k high refresh HDMI devices connected at the same time so they wouldn't even notice the issue.

Almost seems like GPU vendors don't want to support HDMI and it might go the same way GPU’s with USB-C did which would be fine if TV's, projectors, soundbars etc shipped with Display Port sockets instead of just HDMI connections.

DisplayPort is limited to 2m lengths passiv
In the past I've had to have HDMI over cat6 media converters installed for school projectors mounted on very high vaulted ceilings; these days I would just go with a fibre optic HDMI cable which does away with the length restrictions, if you do a search online there are also fibre optic display port 1.4 to display port (it was listed as 4k 144Hz) cables and Display port 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 (it was listed as 4k 120Hz) fibre optic cables which should do away with the length restrictions if that helps you connect everything up.

Some of the cables I saw had absurd prices but the ones I mentioned above had mid double digit price tags depending upon length (the ones I saw ranged from 10 to 20 meters).

So far seeing Asus Tuf series 5070ti as the cheapest option at around £900. But still need to use an adapter for the 12v cable. Only found Asus Tuf and RoG options on all the Nvidia cards.

I have looked at the Display Port to HDMI cables and adapters too, which start off at reasonable prices, but seems a little bit of a minefield with complaints of VRR or HDR not working and other glitches. Basically could be spending around £60 for an adapter or cable that might be plug and play but not guaranteed?

It gets a little off putting when you start considering adapters and cables as work arounds. I was even considering a more basic 9070xt with two 8pin connectors and trying a Display Port to HDMI cable simply because I find the thought of using 8pin to 12v adapters rather ugly.

Yet still find it hard to look past either the 9070xt or 5070ti for cost and performance, the 5080 starting at £980 seems good value when compared to a 5070ti costing £900.

Seems that with AMD you can pay £200 to get a second HDMI port on a 5070ti taking it near to 5080 pricing. Or an extra £500 to get an extra HDMI port on the 5080. £1400 for 16gb of memory with two HDMI and a slight performance over the 5070ti seems difficult to justify, would see the point if it was more memory.

Going around in circles here lol.
