I'm going to ask the Dons/Mods to turn this into a poll. Dons Please make the poll as follows.

What Graphics Card Do you Own?

A) AMD Radeon
B) Nvidia
C) AMD & Nvidia
D) Intel
E) Other

Maximum one vote per user.

F) AMD - Only because Nvidia cannot mine for toffee!

;-)

Prolly a true option for many, it was for me, before i had enough of crossfire, saw the light and went back to the dark side.

I picked nvidia as both my desktops have nv cards installed at present, (gtx 780 and gtx 650ti). I do have a few old ati cards tucked away as spares and ill probably pick up a cheap 7950 to replace the 650 as its a bit weak.

nvidia atm.

Can see AMD winning this poll, recent mining boost and price/performance are still with AMD, and this forum has been pretty pro AMD for the past year or so and for good reason.

I do love AMD's TrSSAA implementation, much much better quality then Nvidia's!

But apart from that I don't care.... I do tend to stick with AMD though because of the prices.

AMD. Fancied a change after having previously owned two Nvidia cards, and the price for the matrix was too tempting. My current card and the two before it have been very good.

Nvidia.

I too would expect AMD to win this - their mid-range cards in particular have made sense in terms of price-to-performance for a while now.

I have owned plenty of cards since the late 90's, including a 3DFX voodoo 3000 but had a few nvidia too.

I currently own AMD due to the following reasons:

  • Mine/Crunch
  • Better value

R9 290 owner.

Had almost given up on AMD after having to RMA a 7870 (capacitor issue) and a 7950 (DOA) in the space of a few months until the 290 came along.
