I thought it was an 8800GT but I was reading an online article and their GTS had the same clock speeds as my GT

it says 112 sp though, the 8800GT has 112 and the 8800GTS has 128

Secondly, how well do the single slot cooled cards overclock? Would uprating the cooler be recommended? If so which is the cooler of choice at the moment and which is the best value for money?

The card is a Gainward, any idea if these are generally good or poor clockers and what's considered a good overclock?

EDIT - I should probably of said that it has been at least a year since I looked into any sort of performance graphics hardware so the core numbers and stream processors mean diddly to me at present.
