Basically what is the best value for money card out at the moment? I was looking at getting the EVGA 640mb 8800 GTS for £250.00 but now it is gone up to £300 which is a lot of money and the new ATI card has just been released also so i'm thinking the prices may go down a bit more. I have a 24" dell with 1920 1080 resolution and a e4300 which may be upgraded to a quad core in the future.

Just get a different brand, they're all the same reference design. :)

£225 for the Leadtek (pre-order)
£260 for the BFG pre-overclocked.

Edit: Someone accidentally just posted about a BFG being available for £230 somewhere. It would be very beneficial to track that down and snap it up quickly before they sell out. ;)

Get a Leadtek 8800 GTS 640MB mate, I got one for £215 delivered last week elsewhere and I can't praise it enough. If only I had time to play some games :D

I have read the forums already! :D I just don't have a few hours to spare. ;) Anyway I think the leadtek 640mb sounds good value, although I thought the EVGA would be better as it has a silent cooler, wouldn't I end up with a noisy cooler thats not good at overclocking with the cheaper cards.

The Leadtek 8800GTS uses the same reference cooler as all non-ACS3 GTS cards and it's extremely silent. :)
