same here - I still had my old account details and it's doing the same for me


will try again tomorrow but if no luck I guess it's out of service anyway, most recent project news is 2005 I think

No, it is just a keystroke competition. No computation is being carried at whatsoever. It is a game and everyone is trying to get the best high score.

yeah it won't let me past the initial setup bit - it must be trying to contact the wrong server but won't let you just skip that part (I'm sure it used to)

I only have 3 files in my pulse folder - I guess there may be a config file of sorts produced later on, if anyone's got one then host it and we can use it to just get in maybe :p

Alright, then you need to add project-dolphin.nl to your host file. The following line should do it:

85.17.61.56 project-dolphin.nl


The host file is located here:
Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts
Windows NT/2000/XP c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
 
or you could do a quick and dirty hack of your hosts files to change the old URL to the new one?>

chuck this in your hosts file (and smoke it) - also no need to reboot just save the file and click the Get Information button

I don't have a great history of windows but I did wonder how exactly it would know to redirect stuff from an address without knowing the actual address :p
