What happens after a lan party

What's the music that you had playing in the back ground ? :)

Oh and nice video - we did a fairly large LAN a few years ago at my mates place (he has a separate building at the back of his garden that's perfect for it) with about 8/9 of us and that was great fun!

Just a shame real life has since taken over and we've not been able to get everyone together since :(

Did you have Pole dancers as well ?

wait, you have lans without pole dancers?!?

(i didn't cut enough locking joints, so used the whole pole for the last corner :))

Lemmings, isn't it?

winner :D

Oh you also have to wear a cowboy hat
Or a sombrero :D

would like to host a lanparty at my house as well,
are there any special requirements for this? (please don't... asking for real).
a lot of time and patience :)
A well ventilated room, computers make a room very warm very quickly (if you have a pole dancer this effect is increased)
I personally get everyone to bring £5+any drinks they want, this means you can give £30-40 to the owner of the house for electricity and have a reasonable ammount to order pizza with

A switch is best usually as if you have mutliple hubs it causes latency issues the bigger your network gets

A server helps as it means there isnt a person with 0 latency so everyone is on a level playing field :)

Other than that its just a matter of checking pcs before they come to make your life easier, or you spend hours fixing computers
I personally built a syspreped image and gave them hard drives to ensure everyones pc is identical to save the hassel of different vesrions etc of games

oha nd enough powerpoints to distribute the electricity load ofc :p
