Please forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place, not sure if this should be posted on the Hard Drive or Home Cinema & Hi-Fi forum.

I am looking at fitting a larger hard drive to my Pace Sky HD Box,

I have read elsewhere that the Barracuda 7200.11 SATA 3Gb/s 1-TB Hard Drive is the one to go for.

Does anyone have any other “proven” recommendations?

Also looking for a cheap external SATA hard drive caddy, again any recommendations?

Thanks in advance
Syd

How much does the seagate cost? The F3 posted here:

and the Western Digital here:

I believe the WD to be faster than the F3, which I've listed because it is fairly
cheap and has the same amount of storage than the Seagate you spoke of.
I think I'll be getting the WD myself within the next week:) As for external
caddy; I've never owned one sorry:(

*edit* Didn't check if they would work in a Sky HD Box, best look yourself for that :)
