What Hard drive?

Hi all my current drive has started to play up causeing my system to go into standby etc, so id like some reccomendations please on what to go for next, ive got a Asus P5W DH Deluxe mobo and am ideally looking for something fast.

SATA or IDE? Seagate make great hard drives with a 5 year warranty too.

seagate barracudda 7200.10 xx series, best ever hd ive had, over the yrs had a few as well, took the recomdations from this forum while bak reading about them.grt buy

Just had my Seagate 400Gb 7200.10 delivered, with already having a 200Gb Seagate drive it was the only choice, best drive manufacturer by far IMHO.

i just got mine and i can't hear it..

after listening to my old maxtor crunching for 2 years it's bliss

Also going from 2mb to 16mb and 60gig to 250gig is great
