Dunno if this is the correct place for this

Basically its to get idea of how many machines you lot have and what you use them for

I like these threads as its great to really see the range of what people use and how much Hardware they actually have...lol

Main machine =
4Ghz 920 D0
12gb 1600 Ripjaw
2x Vertex 2E 120GB Raid 0
2x WD 500gb Raid 1
2x Seagate 1.5tb Raid 1
2x Wd Green 1tb Raid 1
Radeon 5970
Asus Xonar , Corsair 1000W psu, All systems use Win 7 pro 64
P6T SE
Use is mainly for gaming and encoding

Former main, on KVM still - Q9650 @ 3.8Ghz, 8gb Black Dragon, Radeon 4870
Vertex LE 100gb, 1.5tb Seagate, P5K-E i think. Audigy 2 ZS, Corsair TX650
Still game on it, but use it for internet, encoding and email

Q9550 @ 3.64Ghz - P5K-E - 6gb HyperX 8500 , DMX6fire with bay kit, 2x Vertex 2E 96gb Raid 0 , 4x Samsung 7200rpm 2tb singles. Radeon 4850. Got my phono, tape, VCR, Betamax *lol* hooked up to it and do VHS to DVD, tape/lp to mp3 etc..

HTPC downstairs - 42" Panasonic Plasma, Antec Fusion, Pegatron/Asus Socket P mobo with T9300 and 4gb DDR2, Radeon HD something, Vertex 2E 96gb. All movies on my main PC so thats where the storage is over network

My PC is
Q6600 @ Stock
Gigabyte 965p DS3
Geil Black Dragon 2x2gb PC6400
Gigabyte 460GTX 1gb
OCZ 120gb Vertex 2E
750gb Samsung cant remember
BenQ G2420HDBL
Corsair 520w modular PSU
Win 7 64

Originally built when Supreme Commander was released as it liked more cores and a good GPU. The GPU has of course been upgraded since then but the Q6600 is still going well. OC is limited I think due to the motherboard though so I don't bother.

At the time I was also toying with some fluid dynamics software which also liked having 4 cores to play with. Now it only get used for usual home PC stuff and a bit of gaming.

Bought about a year ago now:

AMD Phenom X4 955 (stock)
Asus M4A79XTD Evo
2x2gb OCZ PC12800 DDR3
ATi 5770 1gb
Seagate 500gb
Samsung 500gb
Enermax 480W PSU
Dual boot OpenSuSe 11.3 / Windows 7 64

Use my computer mainly for computational studies (fluid dynamics), programming and other engineering software like MATLAB, CAD packages and in-house specific software. Windows 7 is purely there for the games and Pro Tools for recording/music production.

Spec in sig plus a few additional bits :

Razer Mantis Control cloth mat,
OCZ Equalizer mouse - not bad for a budget gaming spare (Death Adder recently died),
Creative Intrigue 3400 speakers,
Netgear router,
CD/DVD drive (can't remember speeds),
Antec Skeleton case,
Epson C48 printer,
Auzentech F-fi Forte sound card.

I think that's about it. Oh yeah, forgot, an old (forget the model) laptop.

My rig is used for personal work projects and gaming, emails, and media.

19" 16:10 Advent shiney LCD (looks nice but a bit small)

Cheap gaming mouse, Logitech flat keyboard, and some cheap gaming mat.

Use it for gaming, streaming media to my PS3 on the LCD in my living room, browsing the net... Not much more to be honest.

Cheapy PC that I've gradually upgraded, but it's not too bad. :)

2 gb corsair xms 3500l
8800gt
2x36gb raptors in raid 0
2 x 1tb tb f3
vx2025 20" lcd
akasa eclipse 62

This was one of the first pc's i ever built myself, kept mainly for file storage theese days,

Samsung netbook, used for lab reports, research, occasionally in lectures.

AMD2 / 1gb system, mostly a file server though also a backup when the main computer fails. Occasionally used as a firewall. .

i7 920 @ 4ghz / 12gb / 8800gt sli, mostly used for matlab at the moment. Also solid edge, trying to get badly written C code to compile and in the near future lots of Ansys. Eccentrically this one has no access to the internet, as that has proved more reliable than antivirus software at keeping it running reliably.

I'm looking into opening the last one up to the internet for remote desktop (from the netbook) without letting other crap in, but haven't hit upon a sufficient solution yet.

Main PC (almost 4 years old):
1.8Ghz Core2 duo
2GB RAM
8800GT
250GB HDD
Dell 2405FPW monitor
Logitech Wave Keyboard
Logitech Revolution MX mouse
Wacom Bamboo
Lian Li PC-7S
Windows 7

I use this purely for web browsing as I don't play PC games any more. I very rarely do anything else on it other than sync music with my phone and similar stuff. I can't see me changing it until it breaks.

HTPC:
2.5Ghz Athlon X2 2850e
2GB RAM
160GB HDD
LG Blu-ray/HD-DVD drive
MS eHome remote
Keysonic RF laptop style keyboard/trackpad
Windows 7
Lian Li PC-C35B case

XBMC runs as the shell instead of explorer.exe. Everything I watch on TV comes from this box.

Server:
1.8Ghz Pentium Dual core
1GB RAM
1x500GB
2x 1TB
1x 1.5TB
Ubuntu Server
Lian Li PC-70 case

This stores all my media, does all my downloading etcetera. Got about 500GB free so will need more storage soon.

What? How is that possible?

Is it a cache unlock?

6MB Cache unlocked yep. Also got it running today @ 3.5Ghz with only 1.37volts so must have been a decent(ish) Deneb that was binned as an Athlon II, due to demand of the cheaper Athlon II X4. :)

Here's a CPU-Z Validation... Noticed it's showing my voltage as 1.4v so must be slightly higher than BIOS settings.

iMac for pretty much everything.

Computer was for gaming but I'm no hardcore gamer and the iMac plays my games easily enough so it's been made redundant. I could do with more hardcore power, but I need to use mac osx so this is the best I'm getting for the moment.
