What has replaced the GTX 750ti as the low power go to GPU?

Do you already have the VS? They are cheap and nasty and the nastiest of the corsair lot, so I'd look at upgrading regardless

While all the 750ti's tout themselves as being G-sync ready only EVGA's are.

Well I would hazard a guess that plenty of cheap cheerfull PSU's out there do the basics well enough for the lower end systems.

But it's not about upgrading, it was part of a budget build I threw together some time back, the VS was on sale for £18 I think, I had a Fractal Core 1000 that cost me £14 in a sale too, with a few old LGA 775 MicroATX systems. So it was my Windows Server 2012 and Windows 10 primary trial unit, then I used it to delete a handfull of HDD's with Dban over a couple of days.

Super efficient, low cost, budget 1080p gaming was one of the ideas I had in mind after the sub £300 G3258 gaming system articles in magazines and review sites some time back.

Happy to use adaptive V sync and fixed 30fps on high demand games like Crysis.
