Why?![]()
He's an old boy now, 14, and his body is giving up and things, and we can't and wont have him in pain anymore, he deserves better than that, but he's been with me for most of my life, so am spending as much time as possible wth him until that time comes.

Shame
Exactly the same thing happened to my dog on Wednesday![]()
Climabed 1200m on a ski toure near Leysin in the vaudois pre-alpes, Switzerland. Avalanche analysis via a 2-pit block test revealved lower and upper instabilities necessitiating a re-routing down a grade 2 ice-climb using a rope bealy, crampons and ce axe. 1000m powder filled descent through the trees followed. Some instabel slough snow made for some meory powder filled dive-bombs.
Muscles were then relaxed in the Lavey thermal baths. Geothermally heated outdoor swimming pool in th snow with a view of the Dent de Midi peak set on fire by the evening alpen-glow. Super heated aromotherapy sauna rooms, cold-pool plunges, foot-massages and ice rooms.
Finished the night with a nice Moite-Moite Fondue with additional Kirsch and bottle of Fendent. Lemon Sorbet and local vallisanne Willamines pear eau de vie finished the dining. Some beers in the 12 century cellar bar and I'm back here tucking into an exquisite 30 year old Talisker, oh so smokey.
Will do the same tomorrow I think
