What have you learned since joining the OcUk Forums

Pretty much everything I know currently about computers! Esp overclocking which I did for the first time last night. Oh and importance of cooling. Very important that!

I have been browsing this forum for some time. I have learnt that it costs me money!!!!!!

Rgds Matt

Haha, same for me!!

I'd done mild overclocks in the past, its only after joining here and getting advice Ive really pushed it (as in taken my 2GHz CPU upto 3.4 :D )

Also bought watercooling... then upgraded... then added another block... then got a new rad today haha. Just general info on whats best for water cooling etc, I was lost before I came on here!

Also cases are a massive thing Ive learnt about here! Before I was just like "I'll have that cos its cheap but looks cool!"... not good! Now got my Lian Li sitting next to me as proof that Ive learnt :p

I learnt a lot, but I ve been into computers since I was 8:eek: I have learnt overclocking a the basics of how a PC work, still haven't learnt RAM timings yet through, have a rough idea of modding/watercooling(you just get a saw out on the damm thing:D with the hardware out of course)

oh yeah and spelling (but now bad in other areas)

Ive learned that when it comes to computing the OCuk community are 2nd to none! And are completley invaluable as a source of knowledge!

water cooling is the most complicated process I have ever had to learn about...would much rather sit and read about setting up a web server lol... :D

I've got my feet wet with overclocking. Couldn't imagine running my Q6600 at 2.4 now, lol.

Albeit through the internet, I've met some nice people, had a few laughs and have generally improved my understanding of the basics quite well.

Thats a good point! First thing I do with a PC now is overclock it! Mines pushed as far as I can and spent the first week benchmarking, stability testing, tweaking settings and keeping an eye on temps before I felt happy with it haha. Have overclocked a few housemates PC's too but much milder. Wouldnt have had the confidence to go near sombody elses PC before joining here and understanding it all a bit more

How to stay in time with tech (not buying them, just knowing about them) and Various Water-cooling Stuff, and that rowannew Just wants lots of posts XD

omg yeah ripped i want a lot of posts:P
