what headphones do you own thread - i own dt150's :)

I have a hard time imagining that it will be worth the extra over the ft1 pro's. Interested to see measurements and reviews.
 
Keep in mind the Arya launched at like £1400, so it already was up there with the top of the top in that price range tbh and at the £550 or so it sells for now when on offers, it's punching way above its price point. But yeah for this price I don't think it can be beaten by anything else out there.

If only the FT7 was on Amazon, I'd trial it out just to tick the box and compare to the Arya Stealth, I like the FT7's styling more than the Arya, that brown wood matches my speakers for example, and the carbon housing is cool.

Now using the K11 R2R in OS mode, fiond that it's got some subtle changes to the sound that sides music on the more intimate side of presentation vs NOS mode which makes sense on the Arya Stealth and on my speakers, both of which are very resolving on the upper end frequencies so this may be why.

I have used Advanced MP3 Players for many years including recently for my FT1's, my K11 R2R and last week for my iBasso Nunchaku. They have always given great service. They sometimes (normally around various holidays and black friday) have a 10-15% offer which also includes pre-orders. They also do guaranteed warranted clearance at small reductions. For example they have an "Open Box" Arya Stealth full warranty for £519 at the moment.
 
Anyone ordered from the HiFiman EU store?

Due to the weakened US $ dollar, $599 works out to £449 at the moment, I wonder if that includes VAT as the site says it is shipped from China.

Yes, my Edition XS came from the EU store. Arrived in about 6 days. VAT was included. My Arya's from Hifiman Official Store on Aliexpress are due May 2nd, again VAT included.

Well, hence I asked! @Jenz says there isn't any re the Edition XS.

If there is, it will be a 20% (and any duty) on top which will bring it close to current Amazon pricing.

It is basically a win / break even senario. In fact £449 + 20% is £538, which is still like £21 under Amazon price and Duty is not that much.

Picked up the DCA Noire X recently, liking them so far with some EQ after bumping up the bass and lowering the treble a little.

Had the Arya Organic's previously but wasn't always able to enjoy them to their fullest due to not always having a quiet listening environment.
