Yeah, it's a an interesting thing. It's sticky pad, but it's got a moldable sort of squishy feel to it. I'm sure this is how it sticks to mesh so well, as long as the surface is flatish it follows the texture of it.
The actual sound quality of the mic is light years ahead of the clip on jobs I have used and even with it attached I can't see it and forget it's there.
To echo crixus00 I got mine from the US and A inside 10 days and at the moment extra clasps(the bit that attaches to your cans) are free if you ask, I think up to three extra. The guy I dealt with, Jimmy, was super cool, but he did mention that they might start charging for the extra clasps as optional extras in the shopping basket.
