What hoover?

I can tell you now that the Henrys are the strongest and most reliable hoovers ever. I use them at work for Servicing gas fires and it must be on and off 100 times a day. it sucks up cement, sawdust, almost anything and in about 3 years of doing it i think weve only had to change it once.

I've found the louder ones are just more powerful, quieter VC's are more acceptable for home but lack the power.

Our old Philips has this button that retract the power cable right inside, i guess she must've liked that feature more than i thought. She use the hose to hoover the corners/bed...etc, and unclip, twist off/twist on, and then do it again to put it back is just too fiddly for her.
 
Sebo are the way forward, judging by the amount I (didn't) have to take back as faulty, and what the people I used to work with said.

We had a dyson, it was pure cack. Constantly broken and never picked up particularly well. Theres a reason that most professional cleaners use Henrys...
 
Ever opened a Dyson? It has so many clips which break off on purpose that you can't put it back together again. Had one with a (suprise suprise) with a burnt out motor.

What clips? I did ours, changed the motor (easy job), and have done a couple for other people as well.

Well put together, spares readily available, best damn vacuum cleaner I have ever used.
 
Had an original Dyson since 1995 (I think) and it's been great and is still going strong but will be moving house soon and buying something else .... maybe Vax.
 
We got a Dyson DC08 (cylinder jobby, not a standy up one) on Sunday from Tesco, 40 nicker off so was £160.

We figured that the cheap crappy ones we got the last 2 times that have both broke have lasted half as long as this probably will & cost as much/more in the long run.

Another Vote for Mr Henry.

We vacuum the house 6times a week and our Mr Henry's been with us for over 4 years now, still working as hard as he did the first day and looks to continue for a good few years.

Nope, but we use to live in Singapore - in tall flats and because it's the tropics, we always have our windows opened and we get a lot of dust and dirt - so since young, we had a routine of vacuuming everyday aart from sunday.

Came over here 4 years ago and mum still want brother and I to stick to the routine - Im not really complaining, I prefer our carpet to be clean than dirty.
