What if the film I, Robot were true.

WHen I looked at a character in CoD 4, it actually looked afraid. Now I know it's designed that way, but what if by creating it that way we actually gave it feelings?

Sounds insane I know.

We'd be in trouble.

I expect they'd get a little annoyed at us shooting them all the time, sooner or later they'll probable realize there's a great deal more of them than there are of us, they'll gang up on us, and eventually learn the art of spawn camping!

Fortunately, their all preprogrammed fodder who can neither learn or feel.

Dukenukem would tear the place up.

This.

No matter how many of the baddies there are, it always seems that there's a good guy who's 10000000000000 times better, so they'll win and save humanity.

Super save-humanity squad Alpha = Gordon Freeman, The Duke, Commander Shepard, Nomad, Serious Sam, Max Payne.

Yay.

I get the feeling duke would kill all of us then go to a strip bar :o

He never really seemed in it for humanity :p

i'd say give it X amount of years and we will get people screaming that video games should be banned as the characters are too real...they are showing real fear and emotions and to be allowed to kill them is wrong. something along the lines of desensitizing kids towards violence and killing.
