Hi all, I've been using photobucket for years to upload and share images, but since the photobucket uploader extension doesn't exist on chrome, and they've updated their site to make it even less efficient, I'm in the market for a new site.

What I want is something I can really easily upload images to, resize to forum rules, and then share with img tags. That's it. If I can upload to it from url (or by right clicking on web image) then that's a real bonus.

Which one do I go for?

Thanks!

I use Imgur, i always find it easy to share images over skype since it gives URLs tags and other options, and you have a file for all your images saved online. I also think you can drag images in from other webpages.

Im not too sure about resizing though, but it isnt hard to take it from the site, resize and reupload.

I'm in the same boat as you, i was quite happy with photobucket althrough it wasn't the most popular. But then they made it harder and longer to do anything at all, the person who designed that must have been stoned or something!!

IMGUR is hugely popular on many social sites like Reddit so they must be doing something right in terms of availability and speed.

Photobucket, using old site style. Extension add-on for Firefox, and app for iOS. The app has got a LOT better in recent months and no longer crashes and actually uploads pics on 3G. Handy. :D

I refuse to use Imageshack, and bemoan anyone who does. I love it when pages fail to load in completely, and then you look at the status bar and your browser reminds you as it taps it's foot... "I'm WAITING FOR IMAGESHACK.COM (sigh)".

I use Imageshack and don't have such problems.

I use them because they have a decent app on Windows Phone, it's fast, it keeps my upload listed without subscription and I can post via my phone quickly.
