Trying to get hold of an iPhone 3G but thoguht while I am at it I should look for a case. I preferably want one with the following features:

- Can still fit into the official iPhone 3G dock without removing the entire case
- Full fit case with a screen protector on
- Full access to all ports and buttons
- Hard shell if possible but willing to try sillicon ones
- Must be good quality as I don;t want a hard sheel two part plastic clear shell whcih goes on the front and back which just falls off all the time.

We did buy a griffin clear hard shell case for an ipod classic a while ago and it's great and it very good quality but I can;t find one like that for the iphone 3g by griffin

The best I can seem to find is the Nu Form by griffin but want to know whether it is good quality and whether the easy dock part at the bottom is liable to keep falling off the bottom.

I hope you guys can give me some suggestions.

Thanks

Neil

You wont get a hard shell or silicon that will fit in the dock. The dock is a snug fit. So it will depend on what you want to do in that respect.

I have a a griffin wave case and like it :)

You will not get a case that fits all those criteria, not with it being able to dock anyway. Some you can take the bottom bit off but for me that is just plain awkward and I would rather plug the cable straight into the phone instead.

No silicon case will be thin enough to have the dock, the invisible shield should work but its not technically a case plus you wanted a hard shell anyway.

Just get a foof.

I was going to get a case but think they look stupid - having a gorgeous iphone in a huge plastic condom. So i covered mine with invisible shield so she still looks just as nice :)

I bought an invisible shield, they sent me a 20% discount code after ordering :S

If anyone wants to use it, first come first served!

Here's the one-time-use code that you enter during checkout: 859p4p
