in a wee while im going to be making my first gaming computer. I'm only 14 so as you can imagine my budget isn't unlimited (800 pounds). i would like to get a motherboard with the budget of 100-120 pounds,

it needs these things:
  • works good with 45nm processor (obvious i know?
  • needs to work well with evga maxcore gtx 260, with core at 675mhz
  • please also list any drivers that you reccomend that i get for this mobo

thanks for any help you can give me;)

Unless you plan on SLi-ing then avoid 780i.

790i is the best nvidia chipset for intel and thats too expensive.

In the AMD route 780a is excellent, as is the lower end 750a.

For intel go P45, Gigabyte mobos are my pick.
