What is best graphics configuration?

That configuration is probably best for price/performance. the 9600GT is a cheap card and two of them punch above their £200 weight.
 
Personally I don't think you could go wrong with an SLi setup using 2 x 8800GT's that are currently on TWO for £117/each.

You could get them + mobo + mem for less than the price of a GX2 :D
 
If you have an SLI mobo, then SLI 2 cheaper cards, as they perferm better than the high end ones (my vote is for 8800GT on TWO)

If you dont have an SLI mobo then you need to factor in the cost if this too.
