What is better to buy cod2 or cod5

Would be nice to get a non modern conflict game that i like. I have dod source and i enjoy that. Is there any point getting either?

Theres still about 3000 cod2 servers around, its still popular online more so than cod 5 I believe.

uo 10 times better than cod 2.

cod 2 lot of hackers now.

cod 5 just dont work

Battlefield 2 Infantry only 64 man servers are the Finest battles you can have online, Not quite WW2 weapons but still very comparable & Much better all round.

COD5, Single player is the shortest experience you'll have apart from BF2 single player of course

A Rental only or wait till the price gets down to 10-15 quid.

COD2 in it's day was Supreme but still not even close to Original COD.

I have bf2 lol. I got cod2 only 14£ so not too bad. Also sweet, it's dl'ing

I'm getting about 1.4 meg a sec so should have in in about 50mins hopefuly

Call of Duty: United Offensive. The expansion pack for the first Call of Duty game. Imo, CoD and UO are vastly superior to any other game in the Call of Duty franchise.

Both good games.
Just a word of warning, CoD2 runs a lot slower in DX9 mode than DX7, although this probably won't be too much of an issue if you have a modern GPU.

Rendering Method Preference, change that to the lower DX number (its in the System > Graphics bit).

CoD was great, UO spoilt it IMO.
CoD2 is great, going back to CoD ruins the memories of it being a great game.
CoD4 and CoD5 are ok, but not great.

Cod2 rifle only

Just wish there were more servers still on the go for it

Still better to run it in dx7 (for multyplayer) as its a lot snappier performance wise even on modern hardware.

Yeah, those 2 games I thought where amazing, really cinematic and just was awe worthy in parts.

Then after that I haven't enojyed a Call of Duty since. ¬¬
