What is going on with Battlefield Heroes ??!!

wow.. really? Is it that bad? I thought it will be great fun playing online...

Well that'd be against the NDA, but the fact that it was taken out of beta so they could work on it and beta is due to start again soon should lead you to certain conclusions... ;)

ok, maybe it was a bit dudgy, but what about fun? was it really boring or was it just technical stuff that put you off?
 
well the fact that they take it out of beta and then put it back in is a good sign of sensible developers not being pushed into releasing something they are not happy with.

Or the fact that eveyone who played it thort it was nothing but a crappy versions of Worms 3D, random animations, cartoony graphics and stupid sound effects included.

It was dire, not even worth being free.
 
I only played a couple of rounds. I just couldnt get into it, it caters far too much to newcomers. Takes god knows how many bullets to kill someone. I thought the cartoony graphics and overall spirit of the game were cool though :).
 
Pfft, was waiting for this for ages, it was first due in september 08. but seem's they kept failing with the final product. (and always will ?)

Its nothing like TF2.

Its basically any old generic MP deathmatch game with vehicles mashed together with Worms 3D style and sound, with a sprinkling of incredibly un userfriendlyness, coupled with borked gameplay and a complete lack of fun.

Trust me, your not missing anything.

It was fixed 3rd person camera too...
 
It is rubbish battlefield heroes, seen a lot of leaked pictures and it looked rubbish too, but everyone I talked to who played thinks it's ****...
