I have just logged onto FB after few weeks and everyone is posting about snow...pictures of snow, moaning about it melting...wishing it would stick

All I know is it took me an hour extra to get home last night..It walks into the house, the dogs get wet, Its slippery cold and the work car park is death trap something i don't need at 8.30 in the morning when walking to the office.

When it melts we get slush which in turn wets my trainers when I nip to the shops....The salt rots my car, people drive at 2 mph in it,

Snow has no redeeming qualities its a PITA

Roll on summer

Sipping a beer at 10.30 pm on Balcony still light
BBQ's
Going the beach with the dogs
Riding my motorbike to work
Hot clothesless Babes walking about
Warmth
Smaller heating Bills
Camping out under the stars
Adventure

Snow Sucks

It's the weather. We love to talk about it. Oh and we rarely get it for long periods of time so for some reason people want it to stay...then will start moaning a week later.

I still do that but I like the dark.

I have winter bbq's.

Going the beach with the dogs

Walking along the beach ona cold, crisp winters day rocks!

Riding my motorbike to work

You big wimp. I cycled to work today and still take the Westfield out in the winter.

Hot clothesless Babes walking about

Snow bunnies.

You can be warm in winter - and you can always add more layers but if it's too hot you'll get arested if you remove too many!

Smaller heating Bills

Poor people problem.

Camping out under the stars

I was camping at the foot of Scafell Pike in the Lakes on Saturday

Adventure

Ice climbing? Snowboarding? Cross country skiing?

So in summary - summer sucks!

It's a great way for me to get out of going to work - so really I'm all for it. But if it isn't there I'm happy anyway, but I do agree, the constant facebook statuses and people talking about it in general is quite irritating.

It is so cold right now, well for me, it makes me feel a bit sick (could be the alcohol though). I think lack of sun also contributes this time of year, I just feel more run down.

I like hot weather, i like just sitting at home with the windows open and in my shorts on my pc. I don't even need to go out to enjoy it, just not having to huddle around a heater with my thick hoodie on and slipper socks like an eskimo.

My dog likes it

Snow is the best weather, end of. BBQs in the snow are awesome. Beer chilled by snow is awesome. Wrapping up and warming yourself around a fire in the snow is awesome. There's nothing bad about snow, apart from when it melts.

When I need to walk on snow, I just wear my golf shoes and try not to drive anywhere. I love snow.

I'm with you OP, hate snow (not hate hate just I'd like to have snow whenever I wanted to, so essentially if I want snow, I go to where snow is)

Of course coming from Cyprus, I'm used to 45 degrees in the summer and all the good things you mentioned you can enjoy.

Nothing better than a cold beer, in the heat :)
