Is this a problem with my video card or the game itself.It doesn't happen all the time and my gpu temp is at 60.The bit inside thew red square.

Could be both... too be sure I would run 3D Mark 03/05 a few times and watch closely. The common reasons are:
*overheating (mem or gpu)
*overclocked too much
*phsyical problem with the card
*driver/game issues

If you run 3dmark 2 or 3 times after each other and there are no problems its probably a driver or game issue. Make sure u have the latest drivers / game patch.

Yes i do have broadband thanks :)

I will try some more games but it is hard to tell because it doesn't do it all the time,just at certain points in the game.
 
How can i find this out? The only temp i can find is 60 but can't find nothing for the mem
 
You wont get memory temps just the core or ambient temp. If your not overclocking then heat shouldn't be an issue.

Are all of the games your having trouble with running in OpenGL?

Try a different driver + have you looked at your graphics settings, you may have force mipmaps or tripple buffering on ect which may cause a problem with certain games. Not to say that you can't have these options on but experiment a bit to see if you can get rid of it by switching the settings about.

Just ran 3dmark again and selected AAx2 and when i run it a box pops up with an error report.Does this card not support AA? :confused:
 
open the side of ** case.... if it lasts longer then it points the finger towards that.
If you have a spare 80mm fan / case fan / house huge fan.... point it towards the case. nice breeze over the card will help with the temps and should stop it messing up if that is the problem.
