What is "stable"?

Does that mean it failed at 8 hours 54 minutes, or does that mean you set it and went to bed and stopped it 8 hours 54 minutes later? :)

One core failed after 8 hours 54 minutes

I stopped the other three after 20 hours but I didn't bother setting each threads affinity so once one died the other cores we're no longer at 100% so wasn't a brilliant test after the 8 hours 54 minutes.

then by most peoples reckoning on this forum you have a unstable OC, you should be able to leave prime running indefinitely and never get a fail.
i just usually run an hour of intelburntest, and however long i can do while in the house prime blend (my current OC 6hrs ish before i had to go out) i dont like to leave it in case something goes badly wrong. i usually use OCCT for 20min blasts to do some quick checks before i run the prime test.

edit. i would like to see someone get 10 of a major PC manufactures (beginning with D) PCs off the shelf and prime test them for 8hrs and see how many would pass!! in fact let me search fu to see if someones done this....if not i might give it a go at work when im in n my own :)
