What is that max safe temperature for a 2900?

as the title says, What is that max safe temperature for a 2900?

im at 48c ida @ stock 2d clock and 73c load @ 825mhz core 3d clock.. the fan never goes to 100% , its always under 50% which is good...

Excellent temps you have there for a 2900, mine would idle at 60c and go just over 80c with the fan at 60%.

48c idle mines at 70c! hmm might need to rethink cooling or add water block.

Everest under-reads i find by quite a bit. I dont think Everest reads the most important sensor. What does ATI control panel say?

ati tool and RivaTuner says the same, 48c

everest is always the same as like ati tool and tat etc.


as long as you're not in the 80's i wouldn't even worry

It has always under-read compared to Rivatuner for me and this 8800GTS, i could only put it down to reading the wrong sensor.

Mines hit 93c before and still works ok now (rivatuner killed the fan on it o_O)
