Be sure to support the gfx card pcb with some iron girders firstken1307 said:guys, slap an 7000CU or AlCu on the gfx then you are set![]()
. It would be good if you could use something that big, could probably run it passive.ajgoodfellow said:You're out of luck really. AFAIK there isn't an Artic Cooler for the X1800 series at the moment and the new Artic Coolers don't exhaust the air out of the back

Do the Zalman gpu coolers have fan speed monitoring?

. My stock cooler was a stupid design that sacrificed cooling performance for looks and i was getting 68oc idle and it was reaching 90oc+ under load and that was with a vantec dual 70mm pci fan under it and an 80mm side panel fan. When i fitted the Arctic silencer and turned on my PC i thought it was reading wrong when it was at 32oc idle slowly rising to around 37oc and stayed there, i went on HL for a few hours and it never went above 50oc, and it is also very quiet to boot
.Ahh cheers mate.ajgoodfellow said:No they don't
They spin at 1350rpm on silent (18.5dB) and 2650rpm on normal (28.5dB)
