What is the best car you've ever owned and a brief reason why?

V-spec cause at that time they were scarce (well when Ocuk first started up Pete brought one, but wasn't too pleased when I pulled up outside in mine) :0

2002 Toyota Celica gen 7 owned in the mid 2000's. Although not particularly quick I loved the low down driving position and the handling. I only owned it for a year and likely to have dodged a bullet. Unknown to me at the time a lot of the pre-facelifts suffered from ovel pistons and high oil consumption. Looking at the MOT history a couple of years later, it was no longer on the road. Either the the engine blew up and was scrapped or written off in an accident.

Based mainly upon tank like reliability, a 09 1.6 petrol Volvo C30. I bought it for £900 when it was on 120k, and sold it four years later for £1400 after it ticked over to 195k. 4 previous owners, never serviced under my ownership and not once did I have an issue with it. Beast of a car.

My current DS3. Just under 240BHP in a car that weighs nothing with 4 pot brakes and a limited slip diff makes it great fun to drive. Being a stupid bright yellow colour adds to the fun factor as well. I don't even care I look like a boy racer.

My current SVR because it's the only car I ever purchased brand new and because fast.
Have to admit, I personally think these are the best value, nicest looking of all the "super" SUV's (apart from mine obviously lol) I think they're great you get soooo much kit for your pound as well. I don't buy new cars and the only downside to these is, by the time they get to a point I'm willing to part cash they'll be falling apart hahahaha... however, 100% the best sports SUV based on all factors!!! Post a piccie ;-)

Bmw e30 325i sport, first car i had with any sort of performance, and a lsd, drive it across europe many times, drove it like an absolute hooligan till it rusted away and i scrapped it. Worth reasonable money now!

My 2006 Mustang GT, other cars have come and gone since owning it, many more refined, a couple better performance wise but smiles per miles for me it can’t be beaten. Simple, raw and just fun to drive. Unless it’s nicked or explodes I can’t see myself ever getting rid of it.

Fiat Uno, ages ago.. maintenance was penies and once in a flood I've managed to drive across... while other cars and buses got stuck.

But the one I miss more was the Boxster.

Still have my 2014 330D XDrive 3 series BMW, 0 - 60 in just over 5 seconds and can get 60MPG on a run usually 40mpg around town, I've had it nearly 10 years with not one single problem apart from tyres, brakes, servicing etc. she's getting old now but with only 58k miles still i'm finding it hard to give her up! the only car that i have test drove to make me maybe give her up is a SVR Jag F-Pace but while shes running sweet and not costing me a penny i'll hold off on that
