What is the best method to clean LCD TVs/PS3s?

That's not true :D

I just use a standard microfibre cloth with a dab of water or for very mucky stains (i had cola on it last time ) a little bit of furniture polish. For really, really messy stains wd40 is pretty good as it gets everything off. Though you'll have to use polish afterwards to remove the oily residue.

I use a dish of warm water with a tiny bit of fairy in it & use two of those little clothes you get in glasses cases. If you go into an Opticians & ask for a couple of new ones for your specs they'll give you them. I use one damp to clean it & the other dry to dry it. Works perfect & I smoke untold.

This is exactly what I use

I use this proper screen/electrical cleaner spray and cloth. Honestly I thought these products were gimmicks, selling deionised water in a spray bottle or something. But it removes fingerprints and marks better than anything I've ever used, it leaves no trace of residue or marks at all. You can just spray it directly onto electrical equipment willy-nilly.

i just use lint free cloth and a tab of window cleaner on ps3, for clearing dust out i use a can of compressed aire every 6 months or when its starts getting noisey

i have mostly always used wrung out kitchen towel on all my screens and never had a problem.
untill
a few months ago my mrs picked up some of these from Morrisons for £1 http://www.nomorechemicals.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=31

you get a blue cloth and a white cloth. you run the blue cloth under the tap (it says some screen mfgr's recommend distilled water) wring it out and clean your screen with it then use the white one to give it a nice polish, and i must say it works brilliantly much better than micro fibre coths ive use before have also used it on the piano black trim of the tv and the black wii with great results

it says on the packaging that its infused with antibacterial silver and that it will survive 100 washes @ 60c
she also got a glass cleaning one. same principal but with just one cloth (i swiped that for my car though shh!)

not bad for a quid

Standard 'yellow duster' and a squirt of mr sheen. 3 years old and my panny plasma still looks 'box fresh'

Mushii

I've used a pledge fluffy duster on my Kuro since day one and it works a treat. I wouldn't dream of using any sort of cleaner on the bezzel let alone the screen.

I just peel back a layer of the clingfilm that covers the screen. On the left hand side i have the rip of tag, just the same as F1 drivers. A quick pull and the screen is clean. its not monster clingfilm though.
