What is the best monitor to get for gaming?

The Acer I got said it had a 2MS response time but it had ghosting everywhere. I'm not interested in getting the Acer 3D because I don't like their Dead Pixel Policy and I heard it wasn't good quality anyways. The Dell 27inch looks alright but the 6MS worries me, I hate ghosting and a review said it has ghosting in games.

I've always used CRTS and I love them but you can't buy them anymore. Like I just want a monitor that has the same quality as my old CRT. It had much better colours with black blacks and 100hrz with no lag or ghosting. Why don't they make them anymore? So much better and no Dead Pixels.

Thanx.

Yeh but it seems when I want a fast LCD, I end up having poor colours. Then when I want one with good colours, it has a ton of ghosting and even the fast LCDs have ghosting too. Also if you try to go out of native resolution the picture quality sucks. They're just horrible.

Trying to look for CRTs but can't find any nice 100+hrz ones anymore.

See this was the Acer's ghosting..

You see how bad it is with all the black (ignore the slow camera) and frigging every LCD I seem to get has the same problem. Now that Acer said 2ms but it really is about 7 on the benchmarks, so false advertising or something. The colours were also really dull like blacks were fine but any colours against white looked washed out.

The problem with all these monitors you're linking to is their latency is like 6ms and that is too much.

Also LEDs are too bright, they give me a frigging headache. When you turn down the brightness it destroys the quality :\

I would go for the acer but my last one had 2 stuck pixels and Acer wouldn't replace the screen. So I don't want to buy another monitor from them again because you're very likely to get dead or stuck pixels.

I like the Dell policy where they don't even allow 1.
